Frequently asked questions

Short answers, no marketing fog.

Are there ads while you play?

No. While you solve a Sudoku no advertising appears — no banner, no interruption, no countdown. Ads only exist outside the game.

Does SudoSuite cost anything?

Installing and playing is free. If you want more, you unlock Pro: extra features — such as SudoSelect and booklets without a watermark — and the app becomes completely ad-free. It is unlocked once, for a one-off price. No subscription, no recurring payment, no follow-up costs.

What exactly does Pro give me?

Two things. First features: SudoSelect for ordering your puzzle, all layouts and colours in SudoCreator, booklets without a watermark, multi-page PDFs. Second quiet: with Pro the entire app is ad-free — including outside the game and in SudoTrainer.

You pay once. After that it is yours, with no subscription and no renewal.

Can I print Sudokus?

Yes, that is one of the main tools. SudoCreator produces finished booklets as PDF: every difficulty from Starter to Titan, 2 to 24 puzzles per page, nine paper colours and optionally a QR code next to every puzzle. Ready-made sheets are available here to download.

What is the QR code next to the puzzle for?

It holds the puzzle itself. If you get stuck on paper, scan it with the app — SudoSolver takes over the sheet and shows the next logical step with its reason. No retyping.

What is an X-Wing in Sudoku?

An X-Wing is a rectangle of four cells in which a digit can only sit at the corners. It follows that the digit appears nowhere else in the rows or columns involved. In SudoLearn the technique is explained step by step, practised in the lesson and drilled in SudoTrainer — the same goes for Swordfish, Jellyfish, XY-Wing, Sue de Coq and the chains.

Do I need an account?

No. No sign-up, no registration, no e-mail address. Progress and saved games stay on the device.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Puzzles are generated, checked and solved on the device, and the PDF booklets are produced there too. No internet connection is needed to play.

Is the app for beginners or advanced players?

For both, and that is the point. Starter and Very easy work without any technique. From Very hard onwards named craft is required, and Titan demands at least one chain. Anyone who gets there has taken the route through SudoLearn along the way.

Which languages does the app speak?

Twelve: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Japanese and Chinese.
